Stephan Kramp – friend and ally
AWARE News Network
We at AWARE Simcoe are deeply saddened by the death of Stephan Kramp. He was a friend and ally on the local political scene, a very effective Deputy Mayor and County Councillor who was not afraid to question the status quo. He did his research and presented strong arguments on many different topics. He was especially effective at County Council in addressing environmental issues like waste management. Stephan will be sorely missed. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 52.
Loving husband of Marie Godry. Beloved brother of Anna (Jim) Thompson, and Charlotte (Robin) Ritman. Cherished uncle of Erica (Dan) Cavanagh, Andrea (Dan) Bannon, Rachael Thompson and Raven Ritman.
Stephan is predeceased by his parents Eva & Peter Kramp.
Memorial service will be held in Midland on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. Paul’s United Church at 1 o’clock.
Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family if desired.

The community of Midland is mourning his passing as well. He was a very inspirational man, who cared very deeply about his community, and about the well being of others. Hopefully his legacy will continue to be an inspiration to all. RIP Stephan.
Stephan was a very kind and generous man who loved his fellow Midlanders. His passion for believing what was right and thinking “outside the box” mentality is inspirational to all of us. We will cherish the good times and fond memories.
