Doug Ford is tearing apart Ontario’s health-care system

Doug Ford is intent on trying to sell privatization as a solution to the health-care crisis that he has directly caused.
He claims there is no money to pay our nurses, doctors and technicians, after cutting their budget by $21 billion — $10 billion of which is being wasted on a highway that absolutely no one wants.
He has intentionally hampered our public health system during a pandemic and is intent on tearing it further apart as we struggle with the aftermath.
Meanwhile, his government sits on a budget surplus and intends on carving up as many public lands for his developer friends as possible.
This is a blatant cash grab that becomes even more disgusting when the current nursing shortage is considered alongside. So many nurses retired or were forced to retire during the pandemic that emergency rooms have been forced to close around the province.
