Hello, Just Recovery Simcoe, Simcoe County Greenbelt & Partner Groups are inviting you to be an attendee at our next online event:

‘A Celebration of ‘31 Days of Action’ to Protest Bill 23 and Greenbelt Land Grabs’ WEDS FEB 1 at 7:00 PM on Zoom (see link below)

PURPOSE OF THE EVENT:

This monthly online-only event (happening THE FIRST WEDS OF EVERY MONTH) is to explore the many tangible options for how individuals andgroups can take collective actions across the region, in response to the provincial government’s inability to keep their promise about greenbelt protection and affordable housing.

Please bring a drink of your choice, and enjoy the following:

AGENDA:

• Welcome! Agenda, access needs, land acknowledgment
• Celebration and gratitude, ‘raise your glass’
• Review of the situation, action ideas/resources: how you can help
• Awesome examples IRL!
• Breakout room opportunities, such as: phone zap room, organizing discussion room, doing donation drives room, art making room, dancing/relaxing room.
• Then regroup and share together gleanings.
• Notice of Future Events/reminder of Mighty Networks
• Thank you and Goodbye until next time
