OCCUPATION: Licensed professional engineer, chemical engineering, with more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing leadership.

POSITION YOU ARE RUNNING FOR: Ward 3 town councillor

PREVIOUS POLITICAL EXPERIENCE:

Four years on the Bradford West Gwillimbury economic development advisory committee.

Served on church council for nine years at Springdale Christian Reformed Church. Seven years on the board of directors for King Christian School — currently board treasurer. Recently appointed to the board of directors for Wow Living, which is a local organization committed to affordable housing and helping those in need. Building committee chair for the new King Christian School.

WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RUN?

Bradford is growing and it is important we maintain the rural nature of Ward 3 while preserving our valuable farmland. We need to preserve the historic and village nature of Bond Head, and I believe that as an experienced lifelong local resident of Ward 3, I am best able to achieve this.
