The Couchiching Conservancy is inviting the community to join their annual general meeting on Saturday, March 5 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Zoom.

This is an ideal opportunity to learn about the Conservancy’s accomplishments in 2021, new Nature Reserves, conservation priorities and more. Members have voting rights at the meeting, but anyone is welcome to attend. Last year, over 275 people attended the Zoom meeting from all across the province.

Julia Zarankin, author of Field Notes from an Unintentional Birder will be the guest speaker. Julia is a writer, lecturer and birder in Toronto. Her first book is a Canadian bestseller and is published by Douglas & McIntyre. When she’s not writing (or visiting sewage lagoons in search of elusive waterfowl), she give lectures to lifelong learners in and around Toronto.

Pre-reading materials and a link to register is available on the Conservancy’s website – www.couchichingconserv.ca.
