November 2: LPAT Hearing ERRC Part Two
Part two of the virtual Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) hearing regarding the Environmental Resource Recovery Centre (ERRC) is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
The majority of part one of the hearing was comprised of the County’s expert witnesses followed by cross-examination of those witnesses. Our first expert witness (Planner) Jennifer Lawrence, also testified and was cross-examined during part one.
Next up on November 2nd at 10am is the testimony from our Ecologists followed by other valuable witnesses for FSF. This is the perfect opportunity to show your support and hear for yourself from our witnesses about why it is so important the Freele Forest is protected.
It is our expectation that the hearing will start on Nov. 2nd and continue on Nov. 3rd, possibly ending on Nov. 4th. Oral arguments are expected to be held on Nov. 15th and 16th. The dates for oral arguments have not been finalized at this time but we will keep you posted.
