Come build a vision for a Green New Deal: Attend the Public Meeting June 6, 6:30 pm!

From The Nature League

Sherri Jackson and The Nature League are hosting one of many cross-Canada town halls to build a Green New Deal.

Broadly speaking, a Green New Deal is a bold vision for tackling climate change and rising inequality in a way that centers justice for Indigenous peoples, racialized communities, and workers.

Green New Deal Town Hall Meeting
Thursday, June 6th, 6:30-8:30pm
Collingwood Public Library, 3rd floor
55 Ste. Marie Street, Collingwood

Can you make it out? We need you there.

The only way that we can make sure it truly works for everyone is by bringing together people from all walks of life to develop a shared vision that is grounded in solutions that come from our communities. That’s exactly what we’re hoping to do in these town halls.

If you can, will you help us out by making sure as many people as possible know about these town halls? Please share this event via email, or on facebook.
