The Ontario Farmland Trust is pleased to announce that our 2019 Farmland Forum will explore the theme “A Natural Systems Approach to Farmland Protection.”

Join us for a full day of presentations & discussion on:
– Public-private partnerships in New York that use farmer-driven approaches to promote water quality protection and agricultural viability
– Planning strategies/tools that take a farm-first approach to farmland and environmental feature protection
– Whole-farm and broader system approaches and land use planning policy in Ontario and beyond
Date: Thursday, March 28, 2019
Time: 8:30am – 4:05pm
Place: Balls Falls Centre for Conservation, 3292 Sixth Avenue, Jordan Station, Niagara Region
Cost (includes breakfast and lunch):
$140
$100 farmer rate (with valid OFA, CFFO, or NFU card)
$60 student rate (with valid student ID)
