Pristine aquifer not deemed vulnerable in Tiny Township official plan
by Andrew Mendler Midland Mirror
To Erin Archer, Tiny Township’s new official plan doesn’t do enough to protect the pristine aquifer than runs through the municipality.
Archer addressed council on behalf of a small group of residents fighting to protect local water during a Nov. 14 committee meeting, which saw an updated official plan presented to council.
She pleaded for much-needed protection for the Alliston aquifer, which is considered to have some of the purest, cleanest water in the world.
