Penetanguishene subdivision appeal process to begin in January
by Andrew Mendler Midland Mirror
The process of defending Penetanguishene council’s decision to turn down a proposed residential subdivision will start in early January.
In March, council shot down a draft plan and zoning amendments for a potential subdivision that would have wiped out 30 acres of woodland between Fox Street and Church Street.
Queen’s Court Development Ltd. appealed council’s decision to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). A pre-hearing is scheduled for Jan. 11, 2019.
