I want to be the mayor of Collingwood because I believe we can do better. I stand for government that puts the interests of Collingwood first.
I have served as deputy mayor for the last four years and am running for mayor in the 2018 municipal election. I have lived and worked in Collingwood as a lawyer for 17 years and have been active in the community as a father, coach and volunteer board member with local, provincial and national not-for-profit organizations.
Great to see this Deputy Mayor is running for the top position in 2018. He is highly regarded for his commitment to open and transparent government, and respected for his accomplishments in reducing debt. Vote for Brian Saunderson if you are committed to having an open and accountable local government in Collingwood. As Mayor, he will most certainly “put Collingwood first”!
