As a local business woman, I understand the need to stay on budget.

I want to ensure we can provide the services and infrastructure our town needs without major tax increases. I want to be certain our beaches remain public for generations to come.

We all know there are areas in Wasaga Beach that need some attention, but my concern is what will it look like in 20 years? Do we as residents want sustainable growth keeping our unique Georgian Bay flavour or do we want to become just another big city checking off growth targets?

We need to involve the residents of Wasaga Beach in the decision-making process that will affect their futures.

Our taxes should be used to improve the quality of life for all Wasaga Beach residents, not just the tourists or the downtown.

I want to hear your thoughts on how your town should grow. Call or email me — I won’t just talk to you every four years at an election.

I believe a councillor should be available to all members of the public throughout their term. They are our voices and I believe should have to justify and be accountable for their decisions to all constituents.

Thank-you Wendy. I believe that input from Wasaga Beach residents is important.
I do not think that building condos on the beach will benefit all….but will only benefit a few and will certainly not increase tourism or visitors.
I do think that a High School is important as is a new Library especially if it includes a cultural centre.
I am puzzled as to why WB needs another Arena or will the present one at the East end be closed?
My Husband & I are seniors and have lived here in WB for not quite 3 years. We have travelled a lot and lived in other communities transitioning.
