If you were shipwrecked on a small North Atlantic island and managed to find your way to the pub in the local village, this is the band you’d hope to find playing!

Steel City Rovers glide easily between very traditional Celtic repertoire and recently composed selections. As well, they have managed to integrate some of the styling’s from other Roots music sub genres.

You’ll sense some Southern Blues, a bit of Bluegrass, some Appalchian Swing and even a bit of Acadien music in their presentation. It ‘s all wrapped up in what many folks are calling Celtibilly! Whatever tag you want to put on them, you can be guaranteed it will be entertaining.

The group tours all year round through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvannia and New York states as well as Ontario. Twice nominated for World/Ethnic Music Recordingof the year at the Hamilton Music Awards and recently hired by the famous Swallow Hill Institute of Folk Music in Denver , Colorado, you know it is a group that will leave you with a smile on your face and light bounce in your step.
