David Featherstone, the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority’s manager of watershed monitoring is the guest speaker at AWARE Simcoe’s Annual General Meeting.
His topic: Protecting and Restoring our Natural Heritage Systems – with a focus on re-building these systems on ‘low natural cover’ landscapes.

AGM Business will include:
1. Election of officers.
If any AWARE Simcoe member wishes to nominate a person or yourself to the board, please contact Ann Truyens at@iglide.net.
2. Updates on the Simcoe County Official Plan (SCOP) OMB Hearing, Beeton Woods, Burl’s Creek, and other ongoing issues of concern in Simcoe County.
Membership:
You can join online or at the meeting. Membership ($20 individual, $30 family) is necessary to vote at the AGM.
It also helps support AWARE Simcoe’s watchdog and advocacy functions.
