Mar 3, 2015 — As of today, the County of Simcoe has issued a stop work order to prevent the clear cutting of the designated area until further information relating to the application can be evaluated and confirmed.

Congratulations everyone and thank you so much for your help!!! You have witnessed what can happen when we all come together and focus our energy in a common direction. This is an incredible win for our campaign and allows us the time to solidify a proper argument for our case against this ‘special permit’.

As a result, there will be a meeting this Wednesday March 4 @ 7:30pm at the Beeton Library (42 Main St West, L0G 1A0). Please come out to this event to voice your specific concerns, meet other supporters and help us coordinate the next steps in permanently protecting these valuable forests.
