The West Country planned subdivision in Beeton has received water and wastewater allocation for 123 residential units.

Walton South Simcoe Residential Development, “a joint residential project” with Alliance Homes, and Cosmopolitan Homes, is located west of Danielle Avenue, north of Main Street, to Beeton Creek.

Draft plan and subdivision agreements have been approved, but parts of the development continue to be held up around areas deemed to contain “significant” archaelogical – native artifacts. The areas are under protection, and the developer is responsible to clear those issues with the Province before construction can take place.

The West Country subdivision will generate approximately $3.2 million in development charges.
