Ontario cuts tree planting

Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority is continuing to work hard to improve the environmental health of Lake Simcoe and its watersheds.

Volunteers are needed for the Sunday, October 26  community tree planting at the headwaters of Dyment Creek at 272 Ferndale Drive (entrance to the landfill).  The planting will start at 10 a.m. and end when all saplings have been planted around noon. Wear gloves and closed toe footwear.  Shovels, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
