Simcoe Hall, Lakehead University ~Orillia Campus

500 University Avenue, Orillia WHY ATTEND?

Did you vote in the most recent 2011 federal election?

Did your adult children vote?

Have you been unmotivated to vote?

Have you been frustrated by your vote counting for nothing?

Do elections turn you off?

Then this meeting is your chance to send a message to Ottawa!

This town hall meeting will be chaired by Professor Doug West and offers constituents a chance to state their views and to ask questions about the advantages and disadvantages of both the current Election format (“First Past the Post”) and alternative voting systems based on Proportional Representation.

We’ll also hear from you about improving voter engagement and getting our younger generation out to vote.

Bring a friend! Tell us your views, listen to our MP and others!

Refreshments for good listeners and questioners!
