The South Lake Simcoe Naturalists will host a public meeting on natural heritage issues including forests, grasslands, threatened species and development.

When: Tuesday December 10 7:30-9:00pm

Where: York Region Police Building Meeting Room- Baseline Road between McCowan and Civic Centre Road, Georgina

Special guest speaker will be Reverend Jim Keenan talking about the North Gwillimbury Forest issue and to share why he has have gotten involved in local activism that has now led him to a decision to seek service on Georgina Town Council.

Paul Harpley will present new original science research in our area. Scientific Poster Papers will be on view and information on local, provincial and national issues and programs will be available. Everyone welcome.
