Township to pay $60,000 for former landfill site

TINY TOWNSHIP – A former landfill site in Tiny Township will be purchased by the municipality from the County of Simcoe.
The site is located on the south half of Lot 9, Concession 9. The landfill closed in 1960. Although owned by the county since the early 1990s, the township has operated a gravel pit at the location for a number of years.
