Cloudy skies, breezy days, and cooler nights remind most Canadians that we do, indeed, live above the 49th parallel and it’s a clear indication that the dog days of summer have turned into harvest festivals in autumn.

And no festival is more of a reminder of the pleasures of autumn than the Holland Marsh Soupfest – now into its sixth year – taking place on October 5, 2013 at Ansnorveldt Park on Dufferin Street – right in the marsh. It runs from 11 a.m. til 4 p.m.
More than 40 soupmakers have their wares ready and prepared for a public that wants a taste of locally grown freshness in piping hot servings.

Come into the Holland Marsh, see the most productive lands in all of Canada, take a short walk to our vendors market – including fresh, locally grown Holland Marsh products, and then step into a soup sampling heaven that will make you want for more – even if you can’t have another spoonful.
Go to http://www.hollandmarshsoupfest.ca/ – because there’s always time for an adventure in the Holland Marsh and its vast array of soups.
