It’s our community, it’s our future. Without a clear and loud voice from Springwater communities, Township staff and council will proceed without hesitation. We need to take every opportunity to demand that not only should we be heard, but that the clear mandate we are giving needs to be followed. Stop the MSP and let’s work together for a sustainable plan that preserves the rural nature and environment of Midhurst and Springwater. We need solutions that are for the people of Springwater, not for the few.
On September 17th, here’s how YOU can get involved and support our beloved community:
-Come to our Pizza-Q starting at 4:45 pm. All proceeds will go towards helping the MRA fight the MSP.
-Stay for our Public Rally starting at 5:00 pm and ending shortly before the meeting at 5:30. Media will be there and we need to show them that the communities of Springwater are strong and united in fighting unsustainable development, urban sprawl and mass destruction of farmland and water resources.
-Attend the Special Council Meeting at 5:30 pm.
-Wear a green or blue shirt as a sign of YOUR opposition to the MSP. Or better yet, you can purchase a green MRA shirt at the event for $15.
-Join the Midhurst Ratepayers Association. Together we are strong.
