The Ministry of Energy is undertaking a formal review of Ontario’s Long-Term Energy Plan.

The discussion guide, Making Choices: Reviewing Ontario’s Long-Term Energy Plan provides information on the current status of the electricity system. It identifies commitments made that are still shaping the sector, and characteristics of the different energy sources. It is now available on the Environmental Registry.
OPA Presentation
To complement the Ministry’s report and public consultations, the OPA has prepared a presentation – Status, Outlook and Options for Electricity Service – to provide a more in-depth look at Ontario’s electricity system.
Public Consultations
The Ministry of Energy is consulting with the public, energy stakeholders, and partners across the province. There are three ways to provide feedback:
Take the Ministry of Energy’s short online survey
Provide a formal submission through the Environmental Registry
