Monday July15: NDACT at New TEc for Food & Water First
Come out and support Shirley Boxem of NDACT (North Dufferin Agricultural and Community Taskforce) who will be appearing at the New Tecumseth Council meeting on Monday to talk about the lack of protections in place for either food producing land or source water regions.
“We are looking to our local councils to declare their municipalities Food & Water First communities,” Boxem says. “This would send a message to both constituents and elected officials that Food and Water are priorities in considering net new rezoning applications.”
