A big meeting in Wasaga Beach dealing with historic low water levels on Georgian Bay.
Simcoe County Warden and Wasaga Beach Mayor Cal Patterson will be co-chairing the meeting on Thursday night that will explore different solutions to try and get Georgian Bay water levels increasing once again.

Patterson says they are still waiting to see if Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird has had any success in moving forward with the St. Clair river proposal with US Authorities.
That move would see barriers placed in the river to help increase water levels in Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
Patterson says he received an update last Friday from the Environment Minister Peter Kent when he was here in Orillia.
Meanwhile Patterson says they are still awaiting word on whether the Federal and Provincial Government will be coming forward with financial help for marina operators pay for dredging needed so they can operate this summer.
He says a total of 20 million dollars is needed to help marinas around Georgian Bay.
