Journey of Nishiyuu: ‘An eagle flew above the gathering’

The positive energy that was experienced at the Journey of Nishiyuu gathering was an inspiration to all our Nation. There were thousands of people who came to welcome these warriors and drum, sang and dance at the steps of Parliament Hill.
The youth spoke to the masses and shared their story how they came to join the journey and their experiences they went through. The people listened tentively as the future of our youth unfolded before us. The wants and needs of these brave youth were shared and some tears were shed as they spoke.
Our eyes all went to the sky as an eagle flew above the gathering to witness the event and carry those words to the creator. As always when coming away from an event like this, I felt the power of our people getting stronger and stronger! The spiritual energy of like minded people bringing the world to a better place always makes me smile and feel like “yes” we will make that change! Idle No More!
