AWARE Simcoe invited the two declared candidates for the chair of the Nottawasaga Conservation Authority to respond to a short questionnaire. The following is the answer received from Wasaga Beach Councillor Nina Bifolchi:
While I appreciate your interest in this matter, I have done my due diligence with my fellow NVCA Board Members who are the deciding voters in this matter. Friday’s board meeting is open to the public and I welcome you to attend.
Regards,
Nina Bifolchi
The following is the text of the letter sent to Councillor Bifolchi, and the questionnaire.
Dear Ms Bifolchi,
We are informed that you have put your name forward for the chair of the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority.

We work to raise public awareness of the policy positions adopted by anyone seeking leadership roles related to these issues.
To that end, we are sending you a short questionnaire (pasted below, and attached) and ask that you return it to “AWARE Simcoe” <aware.simcoe@gmail.com>, by Wednesday January 23 at noon.
Our intent is to post your answers on the AWARE Simcoe website. We will not edit the answers nor include any commentary in the posting.
We look forward to hearing from you and congratulate you on stepping up to take on an important responsibility.
Yours sincerely
