Davidson, Bifolchi vying for NVCA chair

Innisfil Deputy Mayor Dan Davidson and Wasaga Beach Councillor Nina Bifiolchi have announced that they well be seeking the chair of the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority. AWARE Simcoe is sending a questionnaire to candidates and will post their responses later this week.

Melancthon Deputy Mayor Darren White is looking for re-election as vice-chair.

Elections will take place this Friday January 25 at the authority’s annual general meeting, which starts at 9:15 a.m. at the John L. Jose Learning Centre, Tiffin Conservation Area, Utopia. The meeting is open to the public. 

Also on the agenda is a presentation by Paul Fleming of the Midhurst Ratepayers Association.
