Saturday November 10: Great Lakes Water Levels meeting in T.O.
Concerned about water levels?
Email invitation from Sierra Club Ontario November 4 2012
On Saturday November 10 Sierra Club Ontario’s Great Lakes Section invites you to join us at 9:30 am for
coffee and discussion and then from 10am until noon for presentations and discussion on:
1. the recent McMaster University findings (you will learn how desperate Musky are to find wetlands
that they can get into);
2. the latest findings from W. F. Baird and Assoc. regarding where Georgian Bay water levels should
be now;
3. the devastating impacts of 13 years of sustained low levels and a new record low now approaching;
4. the effective work of Sierra Club Ontario and FoTTSA’s along with the other large Great Lakes
environmental organizations to convince political leaders in Canada and the United States to act
now to restore our water levels gradually and responsibly.
All are welcome to attend, but we are urgently asking for donations to help fund this important research
and to continue our bi-national efforts that are essential to saving Georgian Bay. To donate bring or
