Simcoe County holds public meeting about future of its largest forest

A special meeting taking isplace on Saturday to deal with the future of the largest forest in Simcoe County.
The Couchiching Conservancy hold a meeting to gather input on the Copeland Forest.
Doretha Hangaard is the Project Manager — and says this is such an important natural resource because its the only large forest within driving distance from Toronto.
Saturday’s meeting is being held at the Horseshoe Valley ski lodge and starts at 9 AM.
Hangaard says recommendations from the meeting will be passed on to the ministry of natural resource to plan future stewardship for the Copeland forest.
