The next AWARE Oro-Medonte public membership meeting is to be held on Tuesday November 13, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Edgar Community Hall.
Our Focus: Solar Farms in Oro-Medonte Twp
– Guest speaker Bernard Pope of Ontario Farmland Preservation
will be speaking on the topic of solar farms, particularly in Oro-Medonte Township;and the importance of the preservation of our farmland in Simcoe County.
He will also speak about the public meeting being held for the proposed solar farmin the village of Edgar being held on December 3.
– There will also be an update on the status of the TRY Recycling issue
– New business, open forum, networking
