A beach property owner at Thunder Beach has claimed part of the road allowance as part of his property. Councillor Warren has recently been at this property and he reports that the boulders that have been placed at the entrance to this township beach access have to be removed because they are situated on township property.
Henk Blom, manager of Public Works, assured Council that the boulders would be removed and a number of posts would be installed to mark township property.
Mayor Millar announced that the County of Simcoe Council will be considering removing some staff at its transfer stations during their budget meeting.
Lawyer Fred Hacker, acting for a property owner, provided an opinion regarding the ownership of an Ossassane Beach property – Part lot 18, Concession 8 on Plan 776. It was discussed in-camera and Tiny staff has been directed to proceed as per the recommendations contained in Hacker’s report.
