Bryan MacKell, representing MHBC Planning Consultants, gave his report on the Simcoe County Official Plan
regarding the proposed modifications. MacKell was Simcoe County planning director until earlier this year, when he resigned to go into the private sector.
Wyevale, Wyebridge, Lafontaine, Perkinsfield and Toanche are the five major areas of growth in Tiny Township.
A land budget document is needed to track the growth for these areas. The County realizes that each township
will have its own growth plan.
A new highway will be created starting at highways 93 and 12 to the north and traveling west on the Angela S
Foster Road to Baseline. South on Baseline Road to Mill Street where currently the road ends. The new section will
be built joining Baseline to Horseshoe Valley Road. So this proposed highway will be travelling through Tiny and
Springwater Townships. MacKell mentions that Tiny Township asked for this new highway. Councillor Warren
replied that this is untrue. Councillor Wishart commented that there is a lot of info to digest and discuss in nine
days, seeing that the deadline is August 22, 2012 and it should not be rushed through. Mayor Millar calls for a
special Council meeting on Thursday August 16 at 3:00 PM in the council chamber which is open to the public.

him to the next conference

before any decision is made.

The rental property on Spruce Street that is being used as a party house, near Woodland Beach, was
discussed by council.CAO/Clerk Luker commented that bylaws are in place so why not use them. Lawrence
