Sewage study charge questioned
Councillor Warren is questioning why Burnside is asking for $21,377.77 in payment when they are only on
phase 2 of the Septage Study. A lot of the work was done by the Septage Committee before Burnside took
it over. Lawrence and Wishart suggests that the issuue be deferred until Burnside has a chance to explain
themselves.
Lawrence suggests the possibility of putting a stop sign at Lawson Road and Tiny Beaches Road South (TBRS).
There is a senior’s hall and restaurant at this busy intersection.
County Road 29 and the 4th concession are heavily traveled roads, especially on Friiday evenings says Wishart.
It is used as a shortcut from Wasaga Beach to Midland. The speed limit needs to be reduced and a flashing
warning light should be installed but apparently the County of Simcoe has jurisdiction in this area. Tiny will
be sending a recommendation to the County on this matter.
