Saturday, Sunday June 9/10: Ecofest in Barrie

AWARE Simcoe is among the groups participating at the third annual Ecofest is set for this Saturday and Sunday June 9th and 10th at Heritage Park on the water in Barrie. Look for the frog and come and say hi!

Ecofest is to feature back to back bands all weekend, “The Water Brothers” who have several documentaries on TVO about water    http://thewaterbrothers.ca/  will be at the festival on Saturday 2 till 4.  The Ladies of the Lake event “Splash”, Trash fusion Fashion show where the outfits are made from repurposed materials, an amazing dinner put on by Unity Market, come see a Geodesic Dome,  the green mile car display,  Great speakers, authors and presentations about our Environment, a kids zone activity area and so much more.For more details, visit the web site.   http://www.ecofestbarrie.ca/
