Thursday June 7: Jamie Hunter speaks in O-M

AWARE Oro-Medonte holds its annual general meeting on June 7, 29012, from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the Edgar Community Hall. Guest speaker is Jamie Hunter, Director/Curator of the Huronia Museum in Midland.

He will be speaking on the topic of aboriginal remains and ossuaries in Oro-Medonte Township, particularly in the area of the Oro Moraine; and the importance of the preservation of our archaeological sites in Simcoe County. He will also be bringing some artifacts to illustrate his talk.
