We are pleased to invite you to Sheldon Creek Dairy’s Grand Opening and Vintage Fair.
Sheldon Creek Dairy, the first farmstead specialty dairy plant in Ontario, is opening its gates to the public at the farm on June 23rd, 2012.
This special event will begin at 11:00am until 4:00pm,
During this event visitors will be checking out the local foods market, taking tours of the farm, viewing the bottling facility, learning how our milk is processed, sampling Sheldon Creek Dairy products, watching cooking demonstrations, playing vintage games, and listening to a live music performance while enjoying a great farm in rural Ontario.
The event is free to all as the den Haan Family would like everyone to have an opportunity to have fun on the farm while also learning how Sheldon milk goes from the cow to your fridge. The event will be held rain or shine.
Sheldon Creek Dairy, located at 4316 RR#2 Loretto Ontario is where Bonnie and John den Haan craft the whole milk and yogurt products all made from the milk of their own cows and sold in glass bottles.
The dairy also features a farmstead retail store offering its products as well as Primeridge Pure artisan cheeses made in Markdale Ontario by Son and Daughter in law Scott and Steacy den Haan. Sheldon Creek Dairy is the first farmstead operation built in Ontario to specifically sell non- homogenized milk products. The den Haans have been farming the land for over 60 years in Loretto and are very excited to provide a delicious, fresh, quality product to the region.
