AWARE Oro-Medonte meets Saturday March 12 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the Edgar Community Hall.
Our Focus: Protecting the Oro Moraine
– Dorthea Hangaard from the Couchiching Conservancy will speak about the Copeland Forest,
as the first in a series of information sessions on the Oro Moraine.
– There will be a very compelling PowerPoint presentation that was made by the people who oppose the
Webers Restaurant application at the proposed site located at Hwy 400 and Line 6 North.
– Discussion on our Council Report Card for 2011
– New business, open forum, networking
