Gaming question to be put to public

Consultation will gauge appetite for casino or slots facility in Midland

 MIDLAND – Midland residents will be asked about their willingness to host a gaming facility of some kind, but wagering on a major casino in town might be a sucker’s bet.
 “We’re not going to put something that looks like Casino Rama in the town of Midland,” Mayor Gord McKay said during a council meeting Monday. “That’s completely inappropriate.”
