Wednesday February 15: Lake Simcoe Stewardship meeting in Barrie

Lake Simcoe Stewarship (MNR) notice February 6 2012

The fifth meeting of the Lake Simcoe Stewardship Network is to be held on Wednesday February 15, 2012 from 10:00 am- 3 pm at the Southshore Community Centre, Barrie.

At this meeting, presentations will focus on activities that are helping to meet the goals of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan including invasive species initiatives, the Holland Canal relocation project, and learn about LEAF’s Residential Tree Planting Program.  There will also be an update of Policy 8.9, the Reassessment of Stewardship in the Lake Simcoe watershed and Network Member presentations.  Please see the agenda attached.
