Road to getting OK for a new university filled with twists, turns

The push is on to prove to the province Barrie is ready to graduate.
After Wednesday’s announcement that the minister of training, colleges and universities is coming to Barrie to kick the tires — that is, to consider it for one of three possible sites for a new university — Statistics Canada released its national population growth numbers with a twist.
