DOMB rift a threat to downtown progress

The issues faced by the Downtown Orillia Management Board (DOMB) continue to pile up.
No longer is it simply merchants versus city council, which seemed to be the case after DOMB chair Mariano Tulipano and more than 30 downtown business owners raised a stink last week about council appointing a second politician, Coun. Patrick Kehoe, to the board — a move that was not supported by the DOMB majority — and called for his resignation.
