New Tecumseth broke through 30k population mark in 2011

Between 2006 and 2011, New Tecumseth’s population grew from 27,701 to 30,234, a 9.1 per cent increase according to 2011 census data released this morning by Statistics Canada. Most of that was concentrated in Alliston, which increased to 15,379 people, up 22.8 per cent.
