Water worries still surfacing around Innis Village project
About 60 residents attend public meeting on the proposed development

Richard Riley and his neighbours have a history of water problems. The Sandy Cove resident lives near the proposed Innis Village East and West development (formerly known as Mika East and West), a 782-unit project that is currently under review by the Ontario Municipal Board. During the construction of underground services on the site roughly 10 years ago, a major disruption to nearby privately owned wells occurred, causing many to dry up — including Riley’s.
