Younger population means large workforce

Statistics Canada is helping turn Barrie’s job stats from a positive into a negative. Upon hearing the news that Barrie’s unemployment numbers dropped almost a full percentage point, from 11.1%
to 10.2% in December, one would think there would be cause for celebration.
