BARRIE – Barrie is set to hire a real estate firm to help with planning for Allandale Station.
“We’re painted into a corner,” Ward 3 Coun. Doug Shipley said during council Monday night. “We’ve spent $4.2 million and we have to spend another $680,00 to make (the buildings) insurable. I can’t spend $680,000 without an end goal.”
