NDACT release – January 31 2012
Artists Against the Mega-Quarry is a two-day art show in Toronto, featuring the works of more than 20 artists who either live or spend time in the beautiful Hills of Headwaters.
Their pieces capture the landscape threatened by the proposed Highland mega quarry and reflect what would be lost should the land be destroyed.
Date:  Friday, Feb 3rd  (6pm-9pm – evening reception) and Saturday, Feb 4th (11am-5pm)
Place: Studio Five – 1362 Bathurst Street, One block south of St. Clair. Parking on the sidestreets. TTC accessible.
Proceeds go towards the fight to stop the mega-quarry!
