BARRIE – Barrie’s Beth Lawton still wants to move into a new waterfront condo project, despite the developer’s criminal past. Lawton and several other residents made a $10,000 reservation deposit for a unit at The West Lakefront Hotel and Private Residences on Dunlop St. E. earlier in the fall.
But recently, the developer’s past has come into question.
