Wednesday November 30: March from Martyrs’ Shrine

People with concerns about a plan to locate a recycling operation in Midland near Martyrs’ Shrine, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons and the Wye Marsh Wildlife Area will march to Midland Town Hall on Wednesday, November 30 to delivers letters to Mayor Gord McKay and his council. 

Route – From Martyr’s Shrine at 10:30 AM, down the trail that leads to the gravesites of the Christian martyrs at the back of Ste. Marie and then along the Rotary Trail to Pillsbury Drive, up to William St., left on Galloway, right on King St.  It will stop at the North Simcoe Rec Centre 527 Len Self Blvd., at 12 noon to pick up other participants and then proceed north on King St. to Dominion Ave. and on to Town Hall, 575 Dominion Avenue, at 12:30.
