Six parties appeal Midhurst Secondary Plan to OMB

In addition to the appeal filed by the Ontario government, the following objections to the Midhurst Secondary Plan are listed on the November 28 Springwater planning committee agenda
1-Cheryl Shindruk, chair of the Midhurst Landowners Group, gave notice she has filed the following correspondence with the Ontario government
a-Alon Szpindel, president of theTandem Group and Sam Reisman, president of the Rose Corporation, asking that the province withdraw its appeal of Simcoe county’s approval of the Midhurst Secondary Plan.
b-Lawyer Susan Rosenthal  of Davies Howes, representing the Midhurst Landowners Group, to provincial government laywer Irwin Schachter, requesting that the appeal be withdrawn.
2-Daniel Mallory, owner of a 45-acre property at 980 St. Vincent St., objecting ro environmental protection designation.
3-Lawyer Scott Snider of Turkstra Mazza acting for 285622 Ontario Ltd. (“Midves”)m owner of 75 acres fronting on Pooles Rd., objecting to environmental protection designation and scheduling of development. 
4-Gordon Crawford, owner of a vacant 1.8 acre lot at 1371 St. Vincent St., objecting to environmental protection designation
5-Sylvia Franckom, owner of 20.3 hectares at 124 Doran Rd., appealing numerous planning concerns
